Dr. Philippe Bertrand received his doctorate in dentistry in 1994 from the Université de Montréal. He then completed a one-year residency at the Notre-Dame Hospital in Montreal in 1995.
Finally, he began a one-year continuing education in oral implantology at Howard University (Washington, DC, USA), where he graduated in 2001.
He is a member of several implantology organizations including:
The American Academy of Implant Dentistry from which he obtained his associate fellow certification;
The International Congress of Oral Implantology from which he obtained his fellow certification as well as the extremely rare diplomatic certification.
In 1998, he enrolled as an active member of the Department of Dental Surgery at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital and became its head in 2005, until today.
Always on the lookout for new technologies, Dr. Philippe Bertrand is involved in research and development and spends several weeks a year outside the country to deepen his knowledge and find the latest novelties in implantology.
